Whether you've been curious about yoga or still consider yourself a beginner, this series offers the perfect opportunity to become familiar with all of the benefits yoga has to offer.
The class provides an introduction to the major components of yoga in a supportive and comfortable environment. You will learn foundations of the practice, safe alignment in postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques to help reduce stress and aid in relaxation. Modifications are offered to accommodate all body types and physical limitations so you remain safe and can participate fully.
Increase your flexibility and stability, improve balance and posture, gain strength and endurance, focus and calm the mind, and increase your overall well-being!
What you need for class: We provide mats, or bring your own. Special yoga gear isn't necessary: simply wear comfortable, stretchy clothing. A water bottle and small towel are nice to have as well. Bring an open mind and a willingness to try new things!
