Behavioral Medicine

Women’s Behavioral Medicine offers specialized, personal help for a wide range of behavioral health issues exclusive to women, including:

  • Therapeutic Gardening

    Mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and postpartum

  • Pregnancy loss

  • Infertility

  • Mood and anxiety disorders related to:
    • The menstrual cycle
    • The menopausal transition
    • Chronic medical disease

Our highly experienced, all-woman staff sees women 18 years and older on an outpatient basis.

In addition, psychiatrists are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to provide psychiatric consultation to women inpatients or emergency room patients at Women & Infants.

As part of the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, our staff includes board-certified psychiatrists and social workers.

Our team approach to care and specialized behavioral health training gives us the expertise to successfully diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions during a woman’s life cycle.
