Women's Behavioral Medicine offers specialized, personal help for a wide range of behavioral health issues exclusive to women, including:
Our highly experienced, all-woman staff sees women 18 years and older on an outpatient basis.
We provide preconception counseling for the management of mental health disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
We also offer a program in mindfulness-based stress reduction. This eight-week program is designed to help women navigate daily stressors and meet life's challenges with greater ease and balance of mind, body and spirit.

As part of the
Women's Medicine Collaborative
, our staff includes board-certified psychiatrists and social workers who work together with our patients' other medical providers.
Our team approach to care and specialized behavioral health training gives us the expertise to successfully diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions during a woman's life cycle.
We invite patients to attend our Circle of Moms psychotherapy group. The group, led by Joanna MacLean, MD and Carla Ferrari, LICSW, is open to women 20 weeks pregnant through 9 months postpartum. Our goal is to help moms and moms-to-be cope with the emotional
challenges of transitioning to motherhood.
Circle of Moms is held on Wednesdays from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, 2nd Floor, Suite 11-C.
You may bring your baby. (Please no toddlers/children over 1 year old.)
